A dragon egg was found in Ojai
By a woman drinking a spicy chai.
It was white but slightly blue-tinted
And so shiny that it glinted!
Immediately she realized it was something divine
And made for it a lovely shrine.
People flocked to look at it
And pray to its powerful spirit.
The egg was well taken care of,
And kept warm by a pretty dove.
Soon it had its own religion
Until it hatched into a tiny baby pigeon.
